Pikes Peak

On a clear day....yes you can see forever and at 14,115 FT you can see the snow caped rockies and experience the dizzyness of altitude effects. I was lucky enough to pick a day that allowed the road to be open to the summit. It is amazing given that the road (dirt) was first built in the late 1880's allowing horses and wagons to make the trip and the paved road mostly follows that first route.
